Description / Scope of Work
Multan Electric Power Company Ltd. (MEPCO) invites sealed bids under Single Stage One Envelope Bidding Procedure for the disposal of eleven off-road vehicles comprising pickup trucks, jeeps, and one master truck. The vehicles being disposed include Mitsubishi, Pajero, Mazda, Land Rover, Nissan, and Suzuki models manufactured between 1985 and 2006. All vehicles are parked at MEPCO regional stores in Multan and Sahiwal in Punjab province and are being sold on an as-is-where-is basis. The bid security amounts range from PKR 8,750 to PKR 47,500 depending on the vehicle. Interested bidders can visit and inspect the vehicles at the specified locations on working days between 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM.
Eligible bidders must be tax-registered companies, firms, or individuals as per Public Procurement Rules 2004 (PPR-2004). Bidders are required to submit appropriate bid security for each vehicle they wish to purchase as per the detailed schedule provided in the tender documents. The tender documents contain comprehensive terms and conditions governing the disposal process, contract performance, and vehicle handover procedures.
Bidding documents can be obtained from the Office of the Director (Procurement) at MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan against a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2,000 upon production of a written request and sales tax registration certificate. Tender documents will not be issued on the opening date. Sealed bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on June 11, 2026, and will be opened publicly at 11:30 AM the same day at the Director's office in Multan.
