Description / Scope of Work
The District & Sessions Judge, Jhang invites sealed competitive bids for the purchase and installation of hybrid off-grid solar systems across multiple locations in Jhang district, Punjab. The tender comprises three lots: Lot 01 involves installation of a 27-kWa off-grid hybrid solar system at the main courthouse with an estimated cost of Rs. 27,739,000; Lot 02 covers installation of a 4-kWa off-grid hybrid solar system at a sub-division with estimated cost of Rs. 4,110,000; and Lot 03 requires installation of a 6-kWa off-grid hybrid solar system at another sub-division with estimated cost of Rs. 6,162,000. The total project scope focuses on renewable energy infrastructure development for judicial facilities in Jhang, with comprehensive technical specifications and performance requirements as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed and financially sound firms with proven experience in solar system installation and related engineering works. Bidders are required to be registered with relevant tax authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, Professional Tax, PRA, and Pakistan Engineering Council. Bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated amount must be submitted in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order of any scheduled bank one hour before the bid submission deadline. The successful bidder shall deposit 10% of the total contract value as a performance guarantee in shape of CDR or bank guarantee.
Interested bidders may download bidding documents from E-PADS portal and the PPRA website. Bids must be submitted electronically on the E-PADS system before 17 June 2026 at 12:30 PM. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 01:00 PM unless it falls on a public holiday, in which case the next working day applies. All bidding procedures follow the Single Stage Two Envelop method as outlined in Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
