Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad is inviting electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment under the project titled Establishment of Stroke Intervention and Expansion of Critical Care/Cardiac Facilities at PIMS. This is a goods procurement for fiscal year 2026-27 with reserved funds allocated for medical equipment acquisition. The procurement will be conducted using the Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and applicable regulations issued by the procurement authority.
All bidders must be eligible as per the criteria defined in the bidding documents and must submit a Bid Security in the form of a Pay Order or Call Deposit as specified in the Bid Security Section. Where Bid Security is not required by the Procuring Agency, bidders are required to furnish a Bid Security Declaration. Bidders must comply with all technical specifications and contractual requirements outlined in the tender documents before submission.
The complete bidding documents are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 on or before Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submission of bids will not be accepted.
