Description / Scope of Work
The Purchase Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad is inviting electronic bids for the procurement of a complete 1600 kVA diesel generator system package under the PSDP project for establishment of stroke intervention and expansion of critical care and cardiac facilities at PIMS hospital. This is a national-level goods procurement for Federal Pakistan with single stage-two envelope bidding methodology using Least Cost Based Selection technique in compliance with Public Procurement Rules 2004. The contract will be funded from reserved procurement budget for FY 2026-27, and eligible bidders are required to submit comprehensive proposals including technical specifications, delivery schedules, and pricing for the complete diesel generator system package.
All bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 (e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) on or before the registration deadline of 11:00 AM on June 18, 2026. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of pay orders, call deposits, or bid security declarations as specified in the bidding documents. Eligible bidders must comply with all qualification criteria and procurement requirements outlined in the standard bidding document, including technical and financial evaluation standards for goods procurement.
Electronic bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, technical specifications, and requirements are available exclusively on EPADS v2.0 at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bid submission is restricted to the electronic platform; manual submissions will not be accepted. E-bids will be opened on June 18, 2026 at 11:30 AM using EPADS v2.0.
