Description / Scope of Work
The Deputy Director Education office in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, invites sealed tender bids from eligible and registered government contractors for the supply of development sector items during the fiscal year 2025-2026. The procurement encompasses IT equipment and teaching materials valued at 1.829 million for Nujoos and Gapol High School; scientific equipment valued at 1.200 million for Nujoos and Gapol High School; 0.580 million for Thalwand High School; and 0.878 million for Sger High School and College in Skardu. The total estimated scope involves furnishing specified items across multiple educational institutions within the region.
Only registered firms and licensed contractors are eligible to participate in this tender. Bidders must submit single envelope sealed bids containing both technical and financial proposals. All quoted rates must include applicable taxes, transportation charges, and all incidental expenses; prices should not deviate significantly from current market rates. Incomplete bids, missing specifications, or documentation lacking required details will be technically rejected. Successful bidders must deposit performance security equivalent to ten percent of the total bid value within ten days of award notification. The tender inviting authority reserves the right to reject tenders wholly or partially in case of regulatory non-compliance.
Tender documents are available for collection from the office of the Deputy Director Education, Skardu, from 16 June 2026 onwards. Sealed bids must be submitted by the specified deadline, with tender opening scheduled for 17 June 2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the Deputy Director Education under the supervision of the procurement committee, where contractor representatives may attend.
