The District Office Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment in District Dir Upper, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inviting bids for the procurement of assistive devices and services, specifically electric wheelchairs, for the financial year 2025-2026. This procurement is being conducted through National Competitive Bidding under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Procurement of Goods, Works and Services Rules 2014. The tender is open to authorized dealers, manufacturers, and qualified firms seeking to supply electric wheelchairs and related assistive devices to support persons with disabilities in the district.
All bidders are required to submit their bids both electronically through EPAD and as hard copies to the District Office Social Welfare. A tender form fee of Rs. 3,000 must be paid, with the original bank slip or receipt attached to the hard copy submission. Bidders must ensure their proposals are substantially responsive to all requirements specified in the bidding documents, including technical specifications, terms, and conditions. Failure to provide complete information or non-compliance with bid requirements may result in automatic rejection.
Bids must be received by 18 June 2026 at 11:00 AM through both EPAD and hard copy submission to the District Office Social Welfare, Dir Upper. Bids received after the deadline will not be entertained. The Procurement Committee will open all bids on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders and authorized representatives. Interested firms should carefully review all bidding documents, including instructions, general conditions of contract, technical specifications, and sample forms before submission.
