Description / Scope of Work
The Shariah Academy at the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), a public sector university, invites sealed bids from Original Manufacturers, Authorized Distributors, and registered Suppliers for the procurement of furniture items for the Shariah Academy Guest House. The tender encompasses a comprehensive range of furniture pieces as detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and is to be delivered within a maximum of 30 days from the date of the purchase order. This procurement is open to vendors registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and enlisted on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). All quoted prices must be on a FOR basis inclusive of applicable taxes, with a validity period of at least 90 days.
Eligible bidders must be Original Manufacturers, Authorized Distributors holding valid authorization certificates, or registered Suppliers with proper tax credentials. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000 and earnest money of 2 percent of the total quoted amount in the form of a Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Cheque Deposit Receipt (CDR) must accompany each bid. Additionally, bidders are required to furnish a Performance Warranty at 10 percent of the total contract value. The Shariah Academy reserves the right to reject any bid that is unsigned, unstamped, conditional, or submitted by unauthorized agents, as well as bids from blacklisted firms.
Bids must be submitted on the PPRA EPADS portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk) as well as in hard copy format to the office of Hafiz Atiq ur Rehman, Assistant Director (A&F) at Shariah Academy, Room No. 40, Faisal Masjid Campus, IIUI, Islamabad, on or before June 18, 2026, at 11:30 A.M. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 12:00 P.M. in the presence of available bidders and their representatives.
