Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders through the EPADS portal for the installation of solar lights in multiple locations across Charsadda district. Work number 01 involves installation of solar lights in Sardheri Bazar Surroundings, Rajjar Bazar Road Surroundings, Wardaga Mitto Killi, Bazar Area, Mani Khela Bazar Area, Dheri Zardad Bazar Area, UC Sheikho, Utmanzai Bazar Surroundings, and Turangzai District Charsadda. The estimated cost of the project is forty million rupees, with the tender based on MRS (2025 1st Bi Annual) and Non MRS items for government contractors registered with PEC and enlisted with the C&W Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category with required specialization codes as specified in the bidding documents. Bid security is set at two percent of the estimated cost (800,000 rupees). Interested firms and contractors must register themselves with the EPADS portal to obtain unique usernames and passwords. All bidders must provide valid PEC, FBR, and KPRA registrations for the current financial year. Bids will remain valid for 120 days from the closing date. In case of rates offered more than 20 percent below the engineer's estimate, detailed rate analysis must be submitted with valid supporting documentation.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the official EPADS website at www.portalkpk.eprocure.gov.pk after the Notice of Invitation is published. The electronic tender form must be submitted in a neat condition with clear scanned copies through EPADS, with no cutting or overwriting permitted. Technical bids will be opened on 23 June 2026 at 12:30 PM at the office of the Assistant Director LG&RDD Charsadda, with financial bid opening date to be communicated subsequently to technically responsive bidders only. Call deposits must be made in favor of the Assistant Director LG&RDD H/Q Charsadda, and original bid security along with additional securities must be submitted through registered courier to the Office of AD LG&RDD THQ Charsadda located at Mardan Road, Charsadda before closing time of bid.
