Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Assistant Director (Senior), Local Government and Rural Development Department, Tehsil Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders through electronic procurement on EPADS for repair and maintenance of transformers at three separate constituency locations: PK-100, PK-101, and PK-102 in District Bannu. Each work package has an estimated cost of 10.00 million rupees, totaling 30 million rupees across all three packages. These works are based on the MRS 2025 (1st Bi Annual) budget and non-MRS items, following a single stage single envelope procedure as per the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Eligible contractors and firms must be registered with PESCO and WAPDA, prequalified with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding codes EE04 or EE05, and possess an Inspectorate of Electricity, Energy & Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa License in Category "C" or "E". All bidders must hold an active tax payer account with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) as per the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013. Bid security at 2 percent of the estimated cost, totaling 200,000 rupees for each package, must be submitted in the form of call deposits in favor of the Assistant Director Senior, Local Government and Rural Development Department. Successful bidders are required to execute repair and maintenance work according to PESCO and WAPDA specifications.
Bidding documents must be downloaded from eprocure.gov.pk after the NIT is published. The deadline for submission of electronic bids through EPADS is 19 June 2026 at 12:30 PM, with electronic bid opening scheduled for the same date at 2:00 PM. Bids remain valid for 90 days from the closing date. Bidders should note that only those with relevant PEC codes and proper registration are eligible, and any false or materially inaccurate information will result in disqualification under the KPPRA Act.
