Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Khushab invites quotations through E-PADS (Electronic Procurement and Auction Platform) for the supply, rental, and establishment of various services and materials required for Muharram-ul-Haram 2026 arrangements in Khushab, Punjab. The total estimated cost of the project is PKR 4.153 million, covering eight distinct work items including barbed wire supply, qanats on rent basis, generators with fuel on rent basis in multiple capacities (20 KWA, 12 KWA, 07 KWA, 05 KWA, and 3.5 KWA), supply and erection of various lighting systems on rent (SOGO lights, LED lights, search lights, hanger rods, energy savers, and rickshaws), excavator machine rental, limestone supply, sabeel materials, and the establishment of a Muharram camping facility with mobile toilets. This comprehensive procurement aims to ensure proper arrangements for the religious event across designated routes in the city.
To participate in this bidding process, contractors and firms must meet specific eligibility requirements including possession of a valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) license with relevant code and category valid until 30 June 2026, active taxpayer status with PRA, FBR, income tax, and E-PADS registration. Bidders are required to submit 5% earnest money as a CDR (Certificate of Deposit/Call Deposit Receipt) from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favor of the Chief Officer Municipal Committee Khushab. The original CDR must be physically submitted to the tender opening committee three hours before the bid opening, failure of which will result in disqualification. All bids must be submitted using standard bidding documents provided by the department on E-PADS platform, and percentage-based rates will not be accepted.
Bidders may submit quotations through E-PADS from the publication date until the closing deadline specified in the tender notice. All received bids will be opened on the same date at the Municipal Committee Khushab office by the tender opening committee in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives. Bids must include item-wise rates quoted in both figures and words, and all incomplete, unsigned, or unfilled bids will be rejected automatically. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under PPRA Rules 2014. The time period for completion of each project will be communicated in the work order following approval of the lowest bidder's rates.
