Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Rajanpur invites bids for the procurement of street lights articles for lighting arrangement and other allied works of Muharam-ul-Haram routes, Imam Bargah, and Majlis, 2026 under the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee Rajanpur in Punjab. The estimated cost of this project is Rs. 1,800,000 with an item rates basis as per the 1st BI-Annual 2026 schedule. This procurement activity is being conducted through the newly introduced PPRA E-Tendering System in line with the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as defined under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and amendments thereto.
All eligible contractors, engineering firms, and manufacturers registered with PPRA or E-PADS can participate in this open e-tendering system. Participants must fulfill the following requirements: registration on the E-PADS portal at https://Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk, submission of bid security amounting to 5 percent of the estimated cost (Rs. 90,000) in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favor of Municipal Committee Rajanpur, and compliance with all terms and conditions specified in the bidding document. In case the lowest bidder's quote exceeds 5 percent below the DNIT of the work, additional quality assurance security equivalent to the difference must be deposited within 15 days after tender opening. False information or fake financial instruments will result in disqualification as per PPRA Rules and potential referral to PEC and PPRA for legal action.
The bidding document is available for free download from the E-PADS website at https://Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online by 11:00 AM PST on 18 June 2026, with the tender opening scheduled for 11:30 AM PST on the same date in the office of Municipal Committee Rajanpur. Bidders must upload scanned copies of bid security on the E-PADS platform and submit original CDRs in hard copy by the closing date and time. Upon issuance of an acceptance letter, the successful contractor must execute an agreement with the department on government-specified stamp paper within seven days to receive the work order.
