Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Okara invites tenders from engineering firms and contractors for the construction of WASA office first floor in two packages at Old Water Works, Okara, Punjab. Package 1 has an estimated cost of Rs 19,626,340 with a contract duration of 6 months, while Package 2 is valued at Rs 13,300,222 also for 6 months. The work includes building portion first floor construction with specifications for excavation, foundation work, brickwork, damp proof course, termite proofing, and related civil works as detailed in the bill of quantities. Tender submission and opening will occur on 19 June 2026 through the PPRA E-Tendering System.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories and on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of a CDR (Certainty Deposit Receipt) amounting to 5% of the estimated bid cost in favour of the Deputy Director Engineering, WASA Okara. For Package 1, earnest money is Rs 981,320 and for Package 2 it is Rs 665,020. Original CDR documents must be presented to the tender opening committee half an hour before bid opening time on the same day, or the contractor will be disqualified. Submission of fake documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting with recommendations to PPRA and PEC.
Bids must be submitted online up to 10:30 AM on 19 June 2026 and will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day through the E-PADs portal by the Tender Opening Committee. Contractors may attend the office of WASA Okara on 19 June 2026 at 11:00 AM where all bids will be retrieved and successful bidder announced. All bidding is conducted as per amended PPRA Rules and regulations. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance under PPRA Rule-35.
