Airlift stores freight forwarding services by Pakistan Navy Embarkation HQ

Embarkation Headquarters of the Pakistan Navy invites qualified freight forwarders to participate in a competitive tender for airlift stores services. The procurement involves transporting dangerous goods (Class 1.4S) with a total value of Euro 1,821,000.00 from Millan Malpensa Airport in Italy to the Naval Store Sub Depot (NSSD) at West Wharf Road, Karachi, Sindh. The consignment comprises five items including a Torpedo Control Unit, FIAM flight in air material sets, and reconditioning set kits, with a combined gross weight of 126.7 kilograms across three different dimensional packages. The cargo must be security-cleared from DGDP with a validity period of 90 days, and quotations are requested in Pakistani Rupees only.

Only DGDP registered freight forwarders who are security-wise cleared are eligible to quote for this tender. Participating firms must hold the necessary licenses and certifications required for handling dangerous goods shipments, including No Objection Certificate (NOC) or No Claim Certificate (NCC) from the relevant airline if required due to the high-value and hazardous nature of the items. Firms must provide quotations in hard copy format using double envelopes with complete shipment details including item name and weight on the outer envelope for proper identification.

Quotations must be received by 10:00 AM on 22 June 2026 at the office of Lt. CDR M Waqas Mahmood PN, Commander Embarkation HQ, Naval Store Sub Depot (NSSD), West Wharf Road, Karachi. Quotations will be opened at 10:30 AM on the same date. The selected firm with the lowest rates will be bound to execute the shipment as per approval, with penalties and possible blacklisting for non-compliance.
