Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the supply of HTV tyres for buses and coasters under Request for Quotation RFQ-003781. The procurement comprises two line items: ten units of 16PLY Type A270 tyres (9.00R20 specification) for Hino buses including complete sets of tyre, tube and flap with SLM brand or equivalent, and ten units of 16PLY Type SL01 tyres (7.50R16LT specification) for Hino coasters also supplied as complete sets with SLM brand or equivalent. Delivery is required to the Stores at IBA Main Campus on University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The quotation deadline is 11 June 2026 at 12:00 AM.
Quotations are open to all eligible suppliers capable of providing the specified tyre products meeting IBA's technical requirements. Bidders must understand that materials are subject to final inspection at the time of delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel items if material does not conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed. Liquidity damage will be imposed at the rate of 2 percent per month on actual for any delayed delivery. IBA also reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to issue purchase orders to different lowest responsive bidders for individual items or to a single bidder for all items.
Quotations should be submitted to the Purchase Department at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, with contact telephone 021-38104700 extension 2153. Payment will be made via crossed cheque following invoice receipt and delivery of items. General Sales Tax will apply to applicable items, and stamp duty of 0.35 percent on goods against total purchase order value will be levied. All government taxes, levies and charges will be assessed as per applicable rates and SRO provisions. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee.
