Description / Scope of Work
The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), H-12 Campus Islamabad, invites bids from reliable firms and suppliers for the procurement of three laptops for the MARCOMS Department of Technical Education (MARCOMS DTE). The tender covers three specific laptop models: ASUS ROG Strix G16 with Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and RTX 5070 Ti graphics; Apple MacBook Air 15 with M4 chip; and Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G9 with Intel Core 7 240H processor. Bid submissions are conducted through the EPADS (Electronic Procurement Advertising and Dispensing System) platform using a Single Stage-Single Envelope procedure. This procurement is valued in Pakistani Rupees with all applicable taxes included in quoted prices.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for sales tax and income tax, maintain active status on the taxpayer list, provide affidavits confirming they have never been blacklisted or subject to litigation, and submit last three months of duly paid utility bills for their office accommodation. Bid security equivalent to exactly 3% of the total quoted value must be submitted with the bid as a pay order or bank draft in favor of NUST, Islamabad. A non-refundable bidding documents processing fee of Rs. 5,000 must be provided in original form at the time of technical bid opening. Selected firms must provide a 5% Performance Guarantee of the Purchase Order amount and submit one year repair and maintenance coverage contract.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 29 June 2026 (Monday) before 1100 hours. Physical hard copies of compiled bids are also required at the time of bid opening at the P&LP Directorate Conference Room, Near NT Park, NUST H-12 Campus, Islamabad. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of the Local Purchase Committee and firm representatives. Delivery, installation, and commissioning must be completed within 4-6 weeks from purchase order issuance.
