Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Municipal Administration Kandia, operating under the Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic tenders for the fabrication and supply of solid waste management machinery. The procurement includes three items: one front-end loader and back hoe unit, two mini tippers of 1.5 cubic metre capacity, and two tractor trolleys, all to be supplied complete in all respects as per detailed specifications. The tender is being floated for the purchase of essential waste machinery to enhance the municipality's solid waste management capabilities in Kandia and the surrounding region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eligible bidders and contractors must be duly registered on the EPAD portal at https://kp.erocure.gov.pk with valid National Tax Number (NTN), General Sales Tax (GST) registration, active PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration valid for at least three S-class facility levels, and must be offering sale, service and spare parts availability within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The tender follows the single stage two-envelope method under KPPRA Rules 2014, with a mandatory bid security of two percent of the total bid price to be submitted as a Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) in the name of TMO TMA Kandia in a sealed envelope marked accordingly.
Prospective bidders must submit their electronic bids through the EPAD system on or before 25 June 2026 until 13:30 hours, with technical bids opening on the same day at 14:00 hours. All rates should be quoted on Free on Rail (FOR) basis with free supply and delivery to the TMA office. The successful bidder will be required to provide complete operational training to the municipality's staff. Bids must be complete and not conditional; incomplete or conditional submissions will not be entertained. All applicable government taxes including sales tax, income tax, KPPRA taxes and stamp duties as per government rules are applicable. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders with cogent reason as per KPPRA Rules.
