Description / Scope of Work
Medical Teaching Institution DHQ Teaching Hospital D.I. Khan, established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act 2015, is inviting sealed bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for the procurement of two critical medical equipment items: a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Angiography Machine and an Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump. These procurement activities aim to enhance healthcare service delivery and institutional capacity in D.I. Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The procurement follows the single-stage two-envelope procedure under KP-PPRA Rules 2014, with bids to be evaluated from eligible vendors reflected on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue.
Bidders must possess valid Income or Sales Tax registration and be listed on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayer List. The bid security for each equipment lot is set at 2 percent of the estimated value, payable as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in the name of MTI DHQ TH D.I. Khan. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 13th June 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Auditorium Hall of DHQ Teaching Hospital D.I. Khan, where prospective bidders can clarify queries related to bidding documents and technical specifications.
Bid solicitation documents are available for download from the EPADS portal at https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk and from www.kppra.gov.pk following publication of this advertisement. Interested bidders must register with EPADS to obtain their unique user credentials before participation. Technical bids will be opened on 29th June 2026 at 11:30 AM, with submission deadline at 11:00 AM the same day. Bids must be uploaded in scanned format via EPADS; submissions by hand, post, courier, email or fax are not permitted.
