Repair and Rehabilitation of Food Grain Godowns in Malakand and Upper Chitral

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Communication and Works Department, invites electronic bids through the E-PAD system for the second time for repair and rehabilitation of food grain godowns in the districts of Malakand and Upper Chitral. This project falls under C&W category with an estimated cost of Rs 3,336,637 and tender fee of Rs 47,000. The scope encompasses restoration and enhancement of storage facilities for food grains across these mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, critical for food security infrastructure in the province.

Eligible bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority under Finance Act 2013 and possess appropriate PEC category classification. Bidders are required to submit security through two separate mechanisms: MSS (Mobilization and Security/Safety) as well as MS items with quotes not exceeding 10 percent below and 20 percent above the Engineer's estimate. Additional security deposit of 2 percent must accompany the bid, and detailed cost analysis is mandatory when bids are 20 percent below the engineer's estimate. Bid security in the form of bank guarantee or cash deposit is non-refundable for non-responsive or unsuccessful bidders, and will be retained by government and third lowest bidder accordingly.

Bid documents are available from the office of the Executive Engineer, C&W Division, Upper Chitral on working days or via E-PAD system download. Submission deadline is June 29, 2026, with opening scheduled for the same date at 12:30 PM. Bids must be submitted electronically through E-PAD system with original CDR and scanned forms. Tender applicants must obtain NIT notification number SOB1347 and check E-PAD system for all updates.
