Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) invites prequalification applications from eligible suppliers for fault finding, rectification and repair services for winches installed at PQA tugs. This is a three-year framework agreement covering the period 2026 to 2029, with PNSC funding the expenditure from its own resources. The prequalification process is open on an ongoing basis and applicants who miss the initial deadline of 29 June 2026 may submit applications at any time via email for monthly evaluation. Only prequalified applicants will be invited to participate in the subsequent procurement proceedings, with invitations to bid expected in July 2026. The scope of work includes comprehensive maintenance and repair of winch systems as detailed in Annexure A of the tender documents.
Eligibility is restricted to national applicants who satisfy the qualification criteria and experience requirements specified in the prequalification documents. Applicants must demonstrate relevant technical expertise, financial capacity and past performance in similar winch maintenance and repair services. All interested suppliers may obtain further information from PNSC's workshop office in Karachi during normal business hours from 0930 to 1630 hours. The prequalification process is governed by Pakistan's Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Prequalification applications must be submitted on prescribed forms duly signed and stamped via protected email address workshop.tender@pnsc.com.pk no later than 11:00 HRS PKT on 29 June 2026. Tender opening will occur the same day at 11:10 AM in the Conference Room, 16th Floor PNSC Building, Karachi, with provision for bidders to attend. Contact CDRE M.
