Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites electronic bids for the procurement of annual spare parts and miscellaneous items for repair and maintenance of heavy machinery at the Base Workshop of Tarbela Dam Project, located in District Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This tender is open to Original Manufacturers, Authorized Distributors, and General Order Suppliers who are registered on the Active Tax Payer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue and hold valid Sales Tax Registration Numbers (STRN). The tender reference is P-37028 with correction notification CORR-P37028-001, and the procurement is for the financial year 2025-26.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the appropriate tax authorities and possess valid STRN certificates. A Bid Security of PKR 145,086 (One Lac, Forty Five Thousand and Eighty Six only) is required from each bidder in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) made payable to the General Manager & Project Director of Tarbela Dam Project (WAPDA). All bidders must comply with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules 2004, including the notification of the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) as per Rule-48.
Electronic bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and specifications are available to registered bidders on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted exclusively through EPADS on or before 29 June 2026 at 10:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Electronic bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM online in the Office of the Director (Contracts & Procurement) at Tarbela Dam Project, Tehsil Ghazi, District Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the presence of bidders or their designated representatives. The procurement shall follow a Single Stage one envelope procedure.
