Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Punjab invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation and improvement of roads and streets through provision of asphalt, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC), and drainage in UC Chawind, NA-123, Lahore, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 28,034,656 with a total cost including 5% PST of Rs. 29,436,388. The scope of work includes dismantling and removal of existing PCC and road materials, regular excavation, provision and laying of sub-base courses using stone products meeting 100% modified AASHO dry density specifications, provision of brick on end edging for road embankment, bituminous priming and tack coats, plant mixed carpeting with 4.5% bitumen content, traffic lane marking with thermoplastic paint, installation of cat eyes, gully gratings, and comprehensive drainage work including earthwork excavation, cement concrete work, pacca brick work, and cement sand plaster. The project is scheduled for completion within 6 months from the date of commencement.
Bidders must be technically qualified and financially sound with valid registration from relevant authorities. Bid security of Rs. 1,471,819 is required at the time of submission. Contractors should possess experience in similar road rehabilitation and infrastructure projects and hold valid licenses for civil construction work as required by law.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives on the scheduled opening date.
