Description / Scope of Work
The District Education Authority Vehari invites competitive bids for the procurement of Fashion Design Kits intended for 6 schools in District Vehari, Punjab, where Matric-Tech programmes in Fashion Design are to be launched. The total estimated project value is Rs. 5.7 million, comprising 6 complete kits at Rs. 950,000 per unit. Each kit includes comprehensive materials and equipment for 9th Grade fashion design instruction, encompassing drawing supplies, sketchbooks, water colour pencils, croquis templates, fashion magazines, tracing paper, single needle lock stitch sewing machines with specifications for medium to heavy material handling at 4000-5000 rpm, sewing machine accessories, fabric swatches, hand sewing needles, scissors, measuring tapes, irons, magnifying glasses, tailor's chalk, calico fabric, draping pins, clippers, seam rippers, and poster colours with brushes. This centralized procurement is executed by the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority Vehari, in collaboration with concerned School Management Committees under Pakistan Public Procurement Rules.
Bidders must comply with all requirements stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders section. Eligible bidders should possess valid business registration, relevant experience in supplying educational equipment and materials, and proper tax compliance certificates. Bid security requirements and performance guarantees must be submitted as per the prescribed forms included in the bidding documents. All bids must be technically compliant with the detailed specifications and accompanied by manufacturer's authorization forms where applicable.
Bidders are required to submit their complete bid documents electronically as per Section 2.4 instructions. Bids will be opened and evaluated according to the evaluation criteria detailed in Section 2.5.
