Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highway Department invites bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for the special repair of two roads in Kasur District, Punjab. The first project covers special repair of the road from Phool Nagar Balloki Road to Bonga Balochan via Oulakh Village including Lambay Jagir Link, with a total length of 1.80 kilometers, estimated cost of 30.422 million rupees and earnest money of 1.521 million rupees. The second project involves special repair of the road from N-5 Multan Road Bypass to Behramkay Village, with a length of 2.80 kilometers, estimated cost of 12.412 million rupees and earnest money of 0.620 million rupees. Both projects are to be completed within one month and will be executed as per PPRA E-Tendering System procedures.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes, with valid renewed PEC License for the financial year 2025-26. All firms must be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bid security in the form of a CDR (Certified Demand Receipt) at 5 percent of the estimated cost must be uploaded in favour of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Kasur. The lowest evaluated bidder will be required to submit a Performance Security or Guarantee of 10 percent of the contract amount within 15 days of receiving the offer letter, acceptable in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier Cheque, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee valid for three months beyond completion time.
Bidders must quote item rates against each item and provide a grand total in their financial proposals. Bids quoted as a percentage above or below estimated cost will not be considered. Interested contractors should visit the PPRA website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/viewtender.aspx to obtain bid documents and submit their bids online half an hour before the opening date. The tender opening will take place on 29 June 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Office of Commissioner, Lahore Division, Lahore, where responsive bids will be downloaded and quoted rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
