The District Council Chakwal is inviting sealed bids from interested parties for the auction of collection rights under its jurisdiction. The auction encompasses two parts: Part A includes commercial shops and plots located at District Plaza Tehsil Chichawatni and near AC Office Kallar Kahar in Chakwal, Punjab, with lease periods of 10 years and earnest money requirements of Rs. 50,000 each. Part B comprises two collection rights including the Baldissaat collection right for a lease period of 10 years with earnest money of Rs. 100,000 and the Khoshpur collection right with earnest money of Rs. 4,000. The auction will be held on 25 June 2026 at 2:00 PM at the District Council Chakwal premises.
All interested bidders must submit sealed bids according to the specified terms and conditions. Bidders are required to deposit the prescribed earnest money and security deposit through Bank Draft or Call Deposit in favour of District Council Chakwal and provide a copy of their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC). The successful bidder shall be bound to deposit the earnest money immediately and assume the lease within the stipulated timeline. An annual rent increase of 10 percent is applicable, and the rent shall remain subject to the provisions of the Local Government Commercial Property Lease Rules, 2018.
Bid documents can be obtained from the District Council Chakwal office during working hours. All outstanding dues shall be recoverable under the provisions of the Land Revenue Act and other applicable laws. A surcharge at the rate of 10 percent shall be payable on rent remaining unpaid after the tenth day of the relevant month. The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason, and its decision shall be final and binding upon all concerned parties.
