Description / Scope of Work
The Principal QAMC & Allied Institutions Bahawalpur invites bids on a framework rate contract basis from manufacturers, importers, and sole agents for the purchase and supply of specialized dressing items for the Plastic Surgery Unit at Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital. The estimated cost of this procurement is Rs. 14,884,900, and the contract is valid for the financial year 2026-27. Supply will be made on F.O.R basis to QAMC and its allied institutions in Bahawalpur, Punjab. This is a critical medical supply contract designed to support specialized plastic surgery operations with high-quality dressing materials.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, importers, or authorized sole agents of foreign principals registered with the income tax and sales tax departments. Firms under disciplinary action, defaulters, or those blacklisted with the procuring agency or PPRA are not permitted to participate. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost (Rs. 297,698) is required in the form of a deposit at call or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank issued in favour of Principal QAMC & Allied Institutions Bahawalpur. The original earnest money must be submitted to the purchase section before tender closing time.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and technical specifications are available from the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and E-PADS sites. Bids will be submitted electronically through E-PADS with the original CDR and all supporting documents due by 11:00 AM on 30th June 2026. Tender opening will occur at 11:30 AM on the same date. Bidders should provide their lowest and final price as negotiations are not anticipated. Single Stage–Two Envelope bidding procedure (Technical & Financial) as per PPRA Rules 2014 shall be applied.
