Description / Scope of Work
The Balochistan Public Procurement Authority invites sealed electronic bids for the construction of a black top road from Zhob to Makhtar via Murghaki Kizai (N-50 & N-70 Road) in Balochistan Province. The project scope includes road works totalling 103 kilometers, comprising package-1 (km 0+000 to 35+000 km) and package-2 (km 35+000 km onwards), with a total estimated cost of PKR 3,395,299,000. The tender is for year 2026 based on composite schedule rates of 2023 expressed as percentage rates. The tender fee is PKR 2,000 with bid security deposit of 2 percent as specified in bidding documents.
Bidders must be registered with the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPRA and eligible according to the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Applicants must be active taxpayers with no blacklisting by any procurement agency of Pakistan, and must possess completed assignment of similar nature of work in the last five years with turnover of at least PKR 2,370,709,300. Financial capacity registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Category C-B and above is mandatory with specialized code C-E01, C-E02, C-E13. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of bank guarantee or deposit issued by a scheduled bank as specified.
