Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, Gujrat Canal Division, Gujrat, invites sealed competitive bids for the rehabilitation of a group complex and residential quarters damaged during 2025 urban floods. The project is located in Gujrat, Punjab, and involves civil irrigation works with an estimated sanctioned cost of Rs 70.5 million and earnest money security requirement of Rs 5.3 million (5% of estimated cost). This tender follows PPRA Rules, 2014 and aims to restore essential infrastructure in the region affected by recent flooding.
Bidders must meet eligibility criteria established under PPRA Rules, 2014 and provide valid bid security in the form of earnest money equal to 5% of the estimated project cost. The successful bidder must execute an agreement with the Executive Engineer within 15 days of acceptance letter issuance and provide a time-bound execution and activity schedule within 7 days thereof. Field tests to ensure material quality during execution shall be conducted under the arrangement of the successful bidder, who bears the cost of testing from reputable sources and laboratories.
Payment will be made based on actual work done, subject to availability of funds and clearance by relevant ADP consultants. Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Gujrat Canal Division. Bids must be submitted according to the timeline and procedures outlined in the tender notice. The successful bidder has no right to claim interest for delays in payment due to non-receipt of funds. All conditions are governed by PPRA Rules, 2014 (as amended) and the Standard Contract Agreement.
