Description / Scope of Work
Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites sealed electronic bids for repair and maintenance works of Quarter No. 23-C located in Corporation Colony on Chohan Road, Lahore, Punjab. This is a single-stage, one-envelope competitive bidding tender with an estimated cost of Rs 1.715 million and a project duration of six months. The procurement is being conducted through the e-PADS (Electronic Procurement and Auction Development System) of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority in accordance with public procurement regulations. The tender is part of a larger infrastructure maintenance program covering multiple residential quarters in the Corporation Colony area.
Eligible bidders must be registered or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 and above. Prospective contractors are required to submit earnest money in the form of a bank call deposit receipt at three percent of the estimated cost, amounting to approximately Rs 51,450. The original call deposit receipt must be physically submitted to the Metropolitan Officer (Infrastructure) on the applicant's official letterhead on or before the closing time of the bid. Failure to produce the original call deposit receipt will result in rejection of the online bid submission. The contractor must have valid PEC registration and comply with all relevant procurement regulations and terms of contract.
Bidding documents are available on the e-PADS platform at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders must submit their bids in PDF format through the e-PADS portal. The bid opening is scheduled for 30 June 2026 at 11:00 AM in Town Hall, Lahore, with bid receiving closing at 10:30 AM. Bids will be evaluated using the least-cost method.
