Description / Scope of Work
Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites bids for repair and maintenance of seven residential quarters located at Corporation Colony and other sites in Lahore, Punjab. The tender covers Quarter No. 03-C at Chohan Road, Islampura with an estimated cost of Rs 2.187 million, along with six additional quarters (11-C, 23-C, 31-C, 32-C, 1-C, and Wahdat Road & Awa Pahari Stores) with estimated costs ranging from Rs 1.546 to Rs 3.917 million. Each contract has a time limit of six months for completion. The total procurement value across all seven works exceeds Rs 17 million. All work locations are situated in Lahore, making this a major infrastructure maintenance initiative for the municipality.
Eligible bidders must be registered or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 and above. Bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) of any scheduled bank at three percent of the estimated cost for their respective tender. The original CDR must be produced to the Metropolitan Officer (Infrastructure) on or before the closing time of the bid, accompanying the official letterhead of the applicant or firm. Failure to submit the original CDR will result in rejection of the online bid. This is a single stage one envelope bidding procedure conducted through open competitive bidding with evaluation based on the least cost method.
Bidding documents containing detailed requirements, terms, and conditions are available on the e-PADS portal at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders must submit their e-bids through uploading PDF files on e-PADS as per Regulation 6(4) of PPR 2024. The bid closing date is 30 June 2026 with bid receiving time at 10:30 AM and bid opening time at 11:00 AM on the same date. Bids will be opened on e-PADS at Town Hall Lahore.
