Description / Scope of Work
The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD), Karachi, Sindh, invites bids for the procurement of linen and uniform items under Tender No. 032/2025-26. This is a single stage, one envelope procurement process conducted as per Rule 46(1) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010 (as amended to date). The tender encompasses the supply of various linen and uniform items required for the institute's operations. All bidders must submit their bids electronically through the EPAD (Electronic Procurement and Auction Digital) portal managed by SPPRA. Registration on EPADS SPPRA is mandatory for all prospective bidders before participation.
Eligible bidders must meet specific criteria outlined in the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010. Bidders should not be associated with firms engaged by SICVD for consulting services related to the tender preparation. Government-owned enterprises in Sindh may participate only if legally and financially autonomous and operating under commercial law. Bidders under ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices are not eligible. All goods must originate from eligible source countries as defined in the procurement rules. Quoted prices shall remain fixed throughout the contract period with no escalation unless specifically provided. Suppliers must submit a guarantee certificate confirming that items supplied are new and unused, with full responsibility for wrong shipments or expired items requiring replacement.
Bidding documents are available for purchase and submission from 17 June 2026 to 04 July 2026 at 11:00 A.M. Bids must be submitted electronically on the EPAD platform only. The tender opening will take place on 04 July 2026 at 11:30 A.M. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of bank guarantees as specified in the bidding documents. All procurement activities of SICVD are conducted exclusively through electronic bid submission on EPAD, and bidders must ensure proper registration and compliance with all procedural requirements for valid bid submission.
