Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Public Health Engineering Department is inviting tenders through the EPADS platform for the Gravity Flow Water Supply Scheme Manshera in KPK province. Three packages are being tendered: Package-01 involving construction of intake works, access roads, geo hazard and land slide mitigation works, and cross drainage structures with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,835.618 million and bid security of Rs. 76.749 million; Package-02 for construction of raw water conduction mains spanning 25.70 kilometers with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,078.153 million and bid security of Rs. 61.604 million; and Package-03 for construction of access road to WTP with water treatment plant and high ground reservoirs valued at Rs. 1,254.797 million with bid security of Rs. 25.136 million. The total project scope encompasses comprehensive water supply infrastructure development for gravity flow distribution across the region.
Bidders must meet all eligibility requirements specified in the tender documents, including valid KPPRA registration, relevant experience in similar projects, and financial soundness demonstrated through audited accounts. A non-refundable bid security must be provided as stated above, and bidders should quote prices as a percentage above or below the engineer's estimate. Financial instruments must include call deposit receipts and detailed rate analysis as prescribed in the bidding documents. Contractors must possess all necessary licenses and certifications required under KPPRA Rules, 2014 and meet the technical and financial qualification criteria outlined in the bidding documents.
Complete bid solicitation documents are available for download from the EPADS portal at https://www.phed.gkp.pk. Technical and financial bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS in separate sealed envelopes marked accordingly before the deadline of 22 July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same date in the presence of bidders or their representatives. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 28 June 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Project Director's office in Manshera.
