Description / Scope of Work
COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus invites expressions of interest for prequalification of travel agencies to provide air ticketing and travel services on a call basis. The procurement is for domestic and international air travel arrangements and ancillary services required by the university located in Lahore, Punjab. This is an open competitive bidding process conducted through a single stage one envelope procedure via the PPRA e-PADS electronic submission system. All eligible and interested tax-registered sole proprietors, firms, and companies are invited to participate in this prequalification exercise.
Bidders must be tax-registered entities and must meet the standard prequalification criteria set by COMSATS University Islamabad in accordance with PPRA rules. A tender fee of Rs. 2,500 (non-refundable) must be submitted as a pay order or demand draft in favor of COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore. Bid security (earnest money) of Rs. 25,000 is required and must be submitted as a certified demand draft or pay order. Scan copies of both the tender fee draft and bid security draft must be emailed to the designated procurement officers at the university.
Complete tender documents are available free of cost on the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk and through the PPRA EPADS portal. All prequalification proposals must be uploaded to the e-PADS system by July 1, 2026 at 1400 hours. Bids will be opened and downloaded half an hour after the closing time at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus in the presence of bidders who choose to attend. Financial quotations from prequalified companies will be invited subsequently on an as-and-when-required basis through a competitive process. Award will be made to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder in accordance with PPRA Rules. Contact the procurement department for further information.
