Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, Mandi Bahauddin Canal Division, Punjab, invites sealed bids for concrete lining works under tender reference IPL-6237. The procurement comprises two separate concrete lining projects: concrete lining of Gujri Minor Road from 0+000 to 7+655 Tail with estimated sanctioned cost Rs. 40,194,943 and earnest money of Rs. 2,009,747, and concrete lining of Peshawar Minor Road from 0+000 to 5+911 Tail with estimated sanctioned cost Rs. 25,557,402 and earnest money of Rs. 1,284,287. Both projects are located within the Mandi Bahauddin Canal Division area in Punjab and are categorized as C-5 and above category works with a time limit of 12 months for completion.
Bidders must meet standard eligibility criteria including valid business registration and relevant experience in similar works. Bid security at eighty-five percent of the estimated cost is mandatory, and conditional or incomplete bids shall be rejected as non-responsive. The successful bidder must execute an agreement with the Executive Engineer within 15 days of acceptance letter and provide a time-bound execution schedule within 7 days. All quality testing of materials during execution shall be conducted under the successful bidder's arrangement, with costs borne by the bidder from reputable sources or laboratories.
Bid documents are available from the issuing office, and sealed proposals must be submitted before the closing date in accordance with PPRA Rules, 2014. Payment will be made based on actual work completed, subject to fund availability and clearance by ADP Consultants or nominated agency. The successful bidder has no claim for interest due to payment delays caused by non-receipt of funds, and all conditions shall remain in accordance with PPRA Rules, 2014 (amended to date) and the Standard Contract Agreement.
