Description / Scope of Work
The Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Gujar Khan, located in Punjab, invites sealed electronic bids from reputed firms, agencies, and institutions with valid Drug Sale Licenses and registration with relevant authorities for the supply of medicines, surgical disposables, and allied items under Local Purchase of Medicines (Day-to-Day) for the Financial Year 2026-27. The estimated contract value is Rs. 10,250,000 with a bid security requirement of Rs. 525,000. This procurement encompasses all categories of medicines including multinational companies medicines, national companies medicines, and surgical items as per institutional pharmacy business and chain pharmacies standards, with pricing based on MRP and Trade Price in accordance with the Policy and Operational Guidelines for Local Purchase of Medicines issued by the Government of Punjab.
Bidders must possess valid Drug Sale Licenses and be registered with the relevant authorities to participate in this tender. The bid security of Rs. 525,000 must be submitted in the form of a crossed cheque or bank guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan in favor of the Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Gujar Khan. All bids shall remain valid for a period of thirty days from the closing date and may be extended with mutual consent in accordance with PPRA (Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority) Rules. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under relevant provisions of Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.
Bidding shall be conducted through Open Competitive bidding under Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (amended up to date). Interested bidders must obtain bid documents from the e-PADS Portal (https://eproc.gov.pk) and submit their bids electronically through the same portal before the closing deadline of 06-07-2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids shall be opened on 08-07-2026 at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidder representatives.
