Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Space Technology Islamabad invites sealed tenders from registered suppliers and authorized agents for the supply of laboratory equipment required by the Avionics Department. This is a single stage two envelope tender process with reference number RFQ-2526-00251-L issued on 19 June 2026. The procurement covers specialized avionics lab equipment as per detailed specifications provided in Annex-A and Annex-B of the tender document. Bidders must supply items with free delivery to IST premises located near Rawat Toll Plaza on the Islamabad Highway in Islamabad, Federal Territory, inclusive of all applicable government taxes. The organization's Federal Tax Number (FTN) is 9010613-0.
Eligible participants must be registered with the Sales Tax Department and possess a valid NTN (National Tax Number). A mandatory bid security of Rs. 350,000 must accompany each offer in the form of a pay order, call deposit, or demand draft made in favor of IST-Islamabad. No offer will be entertained without this bid security. Suppliers must also provide a 5% performance bond in the form of an unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee or demand draft valid until the expiry of the guarantee or warranty period. Bidders are required to provide high quality samples matching their quoted items and specifications before submission. All offers must remain valid for 90 days from the tender opening date. Delivery must be completed within 30 days of purchase order issuance with successful offloading at the purchaser's premises being the supplier's responsibility.
Sealed tenders must be addressed to the Deputy Director (Procurement) at the address provided and delivered by 11:30 hours on 07 July 2026. Tenders will be opened at 12:30 hours on the same date in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. Late offers will not be considered. Bids can be submitted by dropping in the tender box or through courier or registered post, but must arrive well before the deadline.
