Description / Scope of Work
Lahore General Hospital invites sealed tenders from sole distributors and well-reputed firms for annual repair and maintenance contracts of biomedical equipment for the fiscal year 2026-2027. The procurement encompasses three main service packages: repair and maintenance of Olympus endoscopy systems with all related probes (estimated cost Rs. 9,350,500); repair and maintenance of six Esaote Color Doppler Ultrasound machines, model Mylab-50X Seven SA with serial numbers 200534, 200535, 200536, 200537, 200538 and 4576 located in the Radiology, Gynaecology and Medical Unit-III departments (estimated cost Rs. 6,534,570); and repair and maintenance of printers with toner refilling services for approximately 230 units installed across various departments of the hospital (estimated cost Rs. 1,800,000). The total estimated contract value is Rs. 17,685,070. The procurement is being conducted in Lahore, Punjab under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 using a single-stage, two-envelope procedure.
Eligible bidders must be financially strong, registered for income tax, sales tax, professional tax and Punjab sales tax, and demonstrate vast experience in providing similar biomedical equipment maintenance services. Bidders are required to submit original bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated price of quoted items in the form of a call deposit receipt, bank guarantee, pay order or demand draft issued by a scheduled bank operating in Pakistan, made payable to the Medical Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a performance guarantee of 5 percent of the total contract amount in the same forms. The procurement may be cancelled if sufficient funds are not available.

All bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS platform by 11:00 AM on July 7, 2026, and will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of interested bidders.
