Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Education, Punjab Workers Welfare Fund invites competitive bids for hiring transport services for Workers Welfare School (Boys), Layyah for the financial years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. The project is located in Layyah, Punjab, near Sugar Mills colony in Wahadat Colony. This tender seeks qualified bidders including individuals, companies, and joint ventures to provide reliable and efficient bus transportation services for the school. The scope includes operation and management of transport services with deployment of skilled staff and maintenance of vehicles to meet specified service performance levels throughout the contract period.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to comply with all terms and conditions specified in the bid document and applicable procurement laws. Bidders must submit valid documentary evidence supporting their qualifications and undertakings. Bid security is mandatory as detailed in Section 2.13 of the bid document. Single parties, joint ventures, and consortiums are eligible to participate, provided they meet technical and financial requirements. Bidders cannot participate simultaneously in multiple consortiums for this tender. All bids must be submitted in Pakistani Rupees with complete technical and financial proposals duly signed and stamped.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Directorate of Education, Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, 2nd Floor, Building Directorate of Labour Welfare (North), Labour Colony, Defence Road, Lahore. Electronic bids must be submitted following the prescribed format and submission guidelines outlined in Section 1.3.2 of the bid document. The bidding process is governed by Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Act 2014 and PPRA Rules 2014 as amended. Bidders are required to carefully review all bid documents and submit written objections prior to the bid closing date, failing which no objections will be entertained at later stages.
