Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Teaching Hospital Sukkur, under the Health Department of the Government of Sindh, invites electronic bids for the purchase of drugs and medicines under the 15% local purchase category on daily emergency basis and from Zakat and Baitul Mal funds for the financial year 2026-27. This tender is for emergency procurement of pharmaceutical supplies required to support hospital operations in Sukkur. The tender is divided into Section A and Section B with different bid security requirements. All procurement activities shall be conducted in accordance with government regulations and procurement policy guidelines applicable in Sindh province.
Interested bidders must be registered on the EPADS platform (http://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk/#supplier/registration) for submission of electronic bids. Bid security is required at Rs. 500,000 for Section A and Rs. 200,000 for Section B, to be submitted as original pay orders. Performance security of 5% in the form of pay order shall be furnished by the successful bidder. Local suppliers are preferred to ensure rapid emergency procurement capability. Bidders must carefully complete the tender form and bear responsibility for any errors in submission. Conditional tenders against government policy shall be rejected, and any bidder creating disruption may be disqualified and blacklisted from the tender process.
Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS only; manual bids shall not be entertained. The date and time of tender sale, submission, and opening are specified in the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) published in newspapers and on the SPPRA website and EPADS platform, which bidders must strictly observe. Late bids will not be accepted. Tender validity is 90 days and may be extended as per relevant rules. The purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities and modify specifications at any stage.
