Description / Scope of Work
Afghan Refugees Hospital Chaman, under the PPAH Department in Quetta, Balochistan, invites sealed bids for the execution of three construction and building works packages for the year 2026. The first package involves establishment of a 250-bedded hospital building at Chaman with an estimated cost of PKR 3,457,381,798. The second package covers establishment of allied buildings with an estimated cost of PKR 635,368,796. The third package pertains to external works with an estimated cost of PKR 414,754,630. These projects are critical infrastructure developments for healthcare service delivery in the Chaman region of Balochistan, with procurement conducted under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must be registered with the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA, appear in the Active Tax Payer List, and hold valid registrations with the Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories. Bidders must demonstrate completed assignments of similar nature and provide audited financial statements from the preceding two years. The tender fee is PKR 2,000 per work, and bid security is fixed at 3 percent of the estimated cost, to be submitted as a bank guarantee from a scheduled bank. All bids must include completed NIT and bidding documents obtained from the official procurement portal.
Bidding documents are available electronically on www.bppra.gov.pk and must be downloaded digitally. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPPS System by 13 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Afghan Refugees Hospital Chaman, CW Complex, Jafar Khan Jamali Road, Quetta.
