Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites quotations for passive cabling work and related equipment supply at the G&T Auditorium under RFQ-003838. The scope of work includes supply and installation of high-speed data transmission infrastructure comprising HDMI cables (70-meter 4K specification), KVM switches, wall-mounted equipment racks, fiber optic converters, fiber optic cabling (4-core armored cable for 70 meters), fiber optic joint enclosures, and complete labour charges for cable laying, rack installation, and fiber splicing. Materials will be delivered to the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi. The procurement requires genuine and original items only, with mandatory submission of MAF (Manufacturer Authorization Form) letters for fiber optic components.
Quotations must be submitted by 29 June 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bidders must provide per-unit rates for items and per-meter rates for fiber optic cable, with GST and SST applied separately as applicable. Only responsive bidders offering genuine products meeting IBA's technical specifications will be considered. IBA reserves the right to accept quotations from single or multiple suppliers and to modify quantities or items as required without assigning reasons.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi (Telephone: 0322-3553032, Extension 2155). Payment will be made within 30 working days after invoice receipt and delivery verification. A liquidity damage clause of 2% per month applies to delayed deliveries. Stamp duty at 0.35% on the total purchase order value will be levied. Material inspection will be conducted by IBA ICT department, stores, or end-user at delivery.
