Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi invites quotations for the provision, supply and installation of RAM and SSD upgrades in MAC personal computers. The procurement includes two units of DDR4 SO-DIMM 16GB laptop RAM (2666MHz frequency with one-year warranty) and two units of 512GB SATA 2.5-inch solid state drives (HIKSEMI WAVE or equivalent model with two-year warranty). Additionally, onsite installation and commissioning services are required for Apple Mac Desktop Model A1419 at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh Province. The scope of work encompasses hardware supply with comprehensive warranty coverage and professional technical installation by qualified ICT personnel to ensure proper functioning of upgraded systems.
Bidders must provide quotations strictly in accordance with IBA's technical specifications and contractual requirements. All materials are subject to final inspection by IBA ICT department, IBA stores, or designated end users at the time of delivery. Payment will be processed within thirty working days through crossed cheque following invoice receipt and satisfactory delivery. Suppliers must be aware that liquidity damage at two percent per month will be imposed on delayed deliveries, and IBA reserves the right to cancel orders if materials do not conform to specifications or delivery timelines are not met.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi (telephone 0322-3553032, extension 2155) by 29 June 2026 at 12:00 PM. Materials should be delivered to the Stores at IBA Main Campus. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, split orders among multiple bidders for individual items, and modify quantities or specifications without assigning reasons. All applicable government taxes, levies, and charges including stamp duty at 0.35 percent on the total purchase order value will be charged as per statutory rates.
