Description / Scope of Work
The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), Islamabad is conducting an open auction for the disposal and condemnation of retrieved telephone and copper cables of different capacities from the F-8 Division, NTC Islamabad Directorate. The auction is being held on an "as is where is basis" basis and is open to all registered firms and companies. Interested bidders are required to inspect the cables at the Office of Assistant Engineer (Stores) NTC, located near Social Security Hospital on IJP Road, Islamabad during office hours before submitting their bids. The auction reference number is Dir-NTC/25-14/2026 (Pt-III).
Eligibility for participation in this auction is restricted to firms and companies that are registered with relevant Tax Authorities of Pakistan for NTN/GST as active taxpayers for both Sales Tax and Income Tax. A bid security of Rs. 1,400,000 must be submitted along with sealed bids in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft made in favour of Director NTC Islamabad. Only bidders whose CNIC copy is attached to their auction documents will be permitted to attend the auction proceedings.
Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 AM on 16th July 2026 (Thursday) and will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same date in the presence of bidders and firm representatives. The top five bidders will be allowed to participate in the open auction based on highest quoted bids. The successful bidder must deposit an additional 25% of the offered bid within two working days, followed by the remaining balance within seven working days after issuance of the Letter of Intent. A performance security equivalent to 10% of the total bid value is required at the time of contract signing.
