Description / Scope of Work
Printing Corporation of Pakistan, Islamabad invites sealed tenders from reputable firms registered with the Sales Tax Department for the sale and disposal of old unserviceable printing machines and mixed scrap located at PCP Press, University Road, Karachi. The tender encompasses sixteen categories of items including die cutting machines, envelope cutting machines, die stamping machines, creasing machines, John Perfecta cutting machines, photo proof presses, baby offset machines, Mann offset machines, three-side cutting machines, Rota offset machines, multiple stitching machines, Polygraph machines, Krause cutting machines, cameras, ARC lump and vacuum frames, and mixed scrap comprising iron, brass, steel panels and wood. This is a disposal tender for surplus assets managed by a federal public sector entity.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax Department of Pakistan. Tender documents may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Manager (Procurement and Disposal) at PCP Head Office, Islamabad, or from the Manager at PCP Press, University Road, Karachi, upon payment of Rs.10,000 (non-refundable) during office hours from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on any working day before tender submission. Bidders are required to submit earnest money of Rs.500,000 in the form of a bank draft or pay order favoring Printing Corporation of Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, Islamabad. Rates must be quoted on EPADS 2.0 system; failure to do so will result in automatic rejection. A photocopy of the PCP receipt for tender document purchase must accompany the sealed offer.
Sealed tenders super-subscribed as "Tender for Sale/Disposal of Old Unserviceable Machines and Mixed Scrap" must reach the undersigned office on or before 31.08.2026 by 2.00 p.m. Tenders will be opened on the same day at 2.30 p.m. in the presence of attendees. The old machines and scrap can be inspected during office hours between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Rates are to be quoted on an "as is where is" basis per kilogram exclusive of taxes. The successful contractor must pay all applicable government taxes in addition to the sale price before lifting the items and obtain a separate receipt from PCP.
