Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department, Tehsil (HQ) District Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inviting sealed tenders for uplifting and beautification activities across Central District Mardan under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ADP 2025-26. The procurement includes four civil works projects with an aggregate estimated cost of approximately 204 million rupees. Project 1 covers improvement and beautification of public infrastructure including roads, drains, and street landscaping at UC Gujjar Ghari Saro Shah, Manga, and UC Jamal Ghari with an estimated cost of 100 million rupees. Projects 2, 3, and 4 address uplifting and beautification activities in other urban centers of Mardan District including Hathian, Shergarh, and UC Takkar Takki with combined costs of 104 million rupees. Tenders will be processed through the Electronic Procurement Information System (EPADS) in accordance with the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with the C&W Department. All contractors must possess valid PEC and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) registration including Active Tax Payer (ATP) certificates for the current financial year. Bid security amounting to 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of a call deposit in favor of the Assistant Director (Senior) Local Government and Rural Development. Contractors should provide additional security documentation and meet all technical and financial qualification criteria as specified in the tender documents.
Bid documents are available for download from the official EPADS website. Electronic tenders must be submitted through EPADS by 2026-07-20 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for 12:00 PM on the same date. The tender reference follows the MRS-2025 format under the annual Non-MRS items category. Bidders may contact the office or visit on any working day before the bid closing for clarification. Tender conditions are strictly in accordance with KPPRA Circular No. 5 R.O.(35)/Vol-1-46-2025-26 dated February 2025.
