Description / Scope of Work
The Government College of Technology for Women, Lytton Road, Lahore, operating under the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for the public auction of unserviceable, unrepairable, and scrap items in different lots. The items to be auctioned include raddi, iron, metal, plastic, batteries, and other unserviceable equipment currently stored at various workshops and laboratories within the college premises in Lahore. Items will be auctioned on a lot-wise basis calculated per kilogram or per number as applicable. The auction is scheduled to be held on 13 July 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening at 10:30 AM on the same day in the presence of the auction committee and participating bidders or their authorized representatives.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and must hold valid NTN (National Tax Number) and GST certificates. Only sealed bids submitted in the prescribed format will be accepted. Bid documents, available for Rs. 300 deposit to BOP Account No. 6580047940000015, can be obtained from the Store Office at GCT Women, Lytton Road, Lahore. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the items on any working day during official office hours and must bring their CNIC during inspection. All quoted rates must be exclusive of taxes, and no items will be auctioned below fixed reserve rates. The auction will be finalized at the highest rates offered.
Completed bids with all necessary supporting documents must be submitted to the office of the Principal, Government College of Technology for Women, Lytton Road, Lahore, via registered courier in an insured envelope on or before 13 July 2026 at 10:00 AM. Only one authorized representative per bidding organization, carrying an authority letter and CNIC, will be permitted to attend the bid opening. Final weight measurement of scrap items will be conducted in the presence of the auction committee after finalization.
