Description / Scope of Work
The National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Islamabad invites sealed bids from reliable and registered firms for the procurement of TV Studio items for the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S³H) at NUST H-12 Campus Islamabad. The tender reference is Mass Com/163425. This is a single-stage two-envelope procurement process for television studio equipment and related items required to support the media and communication facilities of the social sciences school. Detailed specifications of all required items are available in Annex-A of the tender document. The procurement will be conducted through the Electronic Procurement and Auction Development System (EPADS).
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for both sales tax and income tax, maintain active status on the FBR taxpayers list, and provide affidavits confirming they have never been blacklisted and are not under litigation. A bid security equal to three percent of the total quoted value must be deposited with the bid submission in the form of a pay order or bank draft in favour of S³H, NUST, Islamabad. Additionally, a non-refundable bidding documents processing fee of Rs. 5,000 must be provided physically at the time of technical bid opening. Bidders must submit the last three months of paid utility bills for their office or accommodation and ensure all required documentation as specified in Annex-B is included with their bids.
All bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 16 July 2026 before 1100 hours; no bids submitted without EPADS will be accepted. Hard copies of submitted bids should be provided at the time of bid opening. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of the Local Purchase Committee (LPC) members and available firm representatives. Delivery and installation of procured items must be completed within four weeks from the date of purchase order issuance.
