Description / Scope of Work
Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, a leading public sector teaching hospital under the Government of Sindh Health Department, invites electronic bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposable System (EPADS) for the supply of six categories of items for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement includes uniforms and protective clothing, general store items such as sundries and electrical supplies, appliances and crockery, diet-enteric feeding and food supplements, printing articles, and stationery articles. This is a single-stage, one envelope procedure advertised under Rule 46(1) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010, with bidding documents available for download from the EPADS portal at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk.
Eligible bidders include registered suppliers, firms, manufacturers, importers, and authorized distributors on the active taxpayers list of the Federal Board of Revenue or Sindh Revenue Board. Interested bidders must register on the EPADS system at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk for submission of electronic bids. A bid security of 2.5 percent of the total quoted price is required for each tender, with a bidding document cost of Rs. 5,000 per tender. The original tender fee and bid security must reach the procuring agency before the deadline for e-bid submission.
Bidding documents are available for download from 29th June 2026 to 16th July 2026. Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS only, with opening scheduled for 16th July 2026 at 12:00 Noon at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, 2nd Floor, Board Room, Dr. Ruth K.M.
