Description / Scope of Work
The Aga Khan Agency for Habitat Pakistan (AKAHP) invites sealed bids from reputable contractors and firms for the Energy Plus Green Retrofitting of Public Buildings (Schools and Hospitals) in the Upper and Lower Districts of Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This European Union-funded project aims to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance of public educational and healthcare facilities in Chitral through comprehensive green retrofitting interventions. The tender encompasses all 800 items necessary for the modernisation and sustainability upgrade of selected school and hospital buildings. Contractors must submit quotations covering all Bill of Quantity items, with partial bids not being accepted.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the relevant tax departments and possess a PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration in Updated Category C-5 or above, with current standing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) where applicable. Bidders must demonstrate financial capability, technical expertise, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Bid security requirements and detailed qualification criteria are specified in the tender documents, which include the Bill of Quantities, technical drawings, evaluation criteria, and terms and conditions available upon email request.
The tender will be conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. The Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 8 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the AKAHP Office in Balach, Chitral. Bid submission deadline is 15 July 2026 by 2:00 PM, with bid opening taking place on the same day at 2:30 PM at the AKAHP Office.
