Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Navy invites open tenders from GST and Income Tax registered firms and suppliers for annual supply contracts of essential food items to various Pakistan Navy units located in Karachi and Islamabad. The procurement includes mutton dressed (550,000 kg), beef dressed (400,000 kg), red chillies powder (26,000 kg), turmeric powder (21,000 kg), frozen fish (5,500 kg), and bread (10,500 kg). These supplies are required for navy personnel and operations across the two cities in Sindh and the capital region. The tender for mutton and beef dressed items at Karachi will follow the single stage two envelope procedure as per PPRA rule 2004 Para 36(b), ensuring transparent and competitive bidding for these critical provisioning contracts.
All participating firms must be registered with GST and Income Tax authorities to be eligible for tender submission. Bidders are required to attach earnest money in the form of a pay order favoring the COMDEP Welfare and Improvement Fund (Account No. 01700103296198 at Meezan Bank) with their technical quotations. Tenders submitted without the required pay order will not be entertained. Firms with previous experience in supplying these food items are encouraged to apply, and preference will be given to suppliers with established track records in navy provisioning.
Tender forms may be collected during working hours from the Office of the Commander Depot Group at Naval Stores Sub Depot, West Wharf Road, Karachi. Tender details are also available on the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk. Tenders will be received and closed at 1100 hours and opened at 1130 hours on 16 July 2026 at the COMDEP office.
