The University of Health Sciences, Lahore invites bids for a framework contract to procure grocery items, vegetables, bakery items and meat for the financial year 2026-27 under tender reference UHS/PUR/FW/26-27/371. The procurement is structured across four lots: Lot-A (Grocery Items, estimated cost PKR 14,989,389), Lot-B (Vegetables, PKR 1,944,193), Lot-C (Meat, PKR 3,912,200), and Lot-D (Bakery Items, PKR 862,650), with a combined estimated value of PKR 21,708,432. The framework contract will cover supplies to the university campus in Lahore, Punjab, and is a recurring annual procurement under the Punjab E-Procurement System (PEPS) following PPRA Punjab Rule 38(2)(a).
Eligible bidders include sole proprietors, manufacturers, and authorized distributors or dealers registered with relevant tax authorities (Income Tax and Sales Tax) and registration bodies. All bidders must submit a refundable bid security of 2% of the estimated cost for the lot(s) they are bidding for, in the form of bank guarantee, CDR, bank cheque or demand draft drawn in favour of the Treasurer, University of Health Sciences, Lahore. The required bid security amounts range from PKR 17,253 for bakery items to PKR 299,788 for grocery items. Bidders are required to submit supporting documentary evidence and valid certificates with their proposals; bids lacking undertakings, legitimate evidence or contrary to submission requirements may be rejected at the initial stage.
Bids shall be submitted online through the Punjab E-Procurement System (PEPS) PPRA at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk by 03:00 PM on 31 August 2026, using a single-stage two-envelope procedure with separate financial and technical proposals. Tender opening will take place at 03:30 PM the same day in the presence of participating firms' representatives.
